Collected glass from Old Town restaurants and bars for Brown Bottle Recycling Program every week from 2005 to 2011 with bike and trailer, diverting 280 tons of glass from the landfill while riding over 6,000 miles.
Collected compost with bike and trailer from Old Town restaurants for 3 years, while operating city’s Earth Tubs as Compost Technician, diverting more than 50 tons of food waste from the landfill. Completed solo, self-contained, cross-country bike tour, riding over 6,000 miles in almost four months on the Adventure Cycling Northern Tier and Atlantic Coast routes. The ride went from Portland, Oregon to Bar Harbour, Maine then to Memphis, Tennessee.
